Patriot Golf Day is one of the events in Lake Ozark MO that all golfers will not want to miss this summer.
Patriot Golf Day is the Folds of Honor Foundation’s biggest fundraiser. This nonprofit organization arranges scholarships for post secondary education. They are given to the family members of military individuals who were disabled or killed while serving the US. During Labor Day weekend, golfers in this country are encouraged to contribute one extra dollar to their greens fees, which goes toward these Folds of Honor scholarships. The Patriot Golf Day campaign is made possible by the United States Golf Association and The PGA of America. Patriot Golf Day always takes place during Labor Day weekend, but anyone can raise money for these scholarships at any time.
Those who are in the Lake Ozark area can participate in 2012 Patriot Golf Day at the Dogwood Hills Resort Inn from August 31 to September 3, 2012. Call the Golf Shop at 573-348-3153 for more information. Dogwood is located at 1252 State Hwy KK in Osage Beach. It is easily accessible from US-54 Expressway.
